Accordingly, a Multi Tranche Financing Facility (MFF) for the implementation of “Climate Adaptation through sub basin Development program” was agreed by ADB and the Government of Tamilnadu for a total value of $ 300 million.
As follow up, the PPTA (Project Preparatory Technical Assistance) consultants were mobilized to prepare the feasibility studies for the up-gradation of the Vennar system in July 2013, at a cost of $ 1.14 million borne by ADB.
